Life is a piece of cake ?

Life is a piece of cake ? is it ? well, everyone has their own point of view but happily i would like to share mine . When a baby is born , right from their birth till the age of 5, they are doing something new everyday. They represent "life" , so beautiful, so pure, so innocent! Then a child grows up, they have different meaning about life, fun, excitement, achievements and reward. Then its us, where life isn't that beautiful as it was when we were little. Its a struggle for some, tough for some, strive for some, challenge for some, ticket to the end for some!

Each day  brings new challenges and yet we try to meet them.Sometimes we succeed and sometimes we don't but never the less I say, trying is good! If you look at it, life is a piece of cake , as we measure our ingredients( ups and downs) to bake a perfect cake (life) at the perfect temperature( love and patience ) and decorate it with the yummy icing and sprinkles ( positivity and good deeds)  and top it up with the perfect cherry(prayer). We all want to have a perfect life like a perfect baked cake but we have to start from some where to make it right ! Let's say one of my closet friend advised me , that each time when u go to bed,  analyze yourself, add in something  positive each week in your life . why not? that's easy. ;-)

My this week special was spending time with kids (one is 2yr old and other is 4 yr old ). Teaching them one good thing and practice it myself too. "Have patience!" hmmmmmmmmm! well yup it was harder than i thought and harder for kids too because they didnt or dont wana  understand the meaning of it. I tried to impose the word "wait  1sec! when my elder one was like" ummmm" mama , i want it now!"  Me:" wait 5 mins plz!
and he was like" Nooooo!  ok 12345! its done now Give it to me!" then the whinnying starts n yes it took 5 mins to loose the patience from both the sides the first day of implementation. Not Bad ,its still too early to make them understand. In this age they are more impatient , what really works with them is reward and appreciation! but its not too late to improve your own patience.

Your own physical and mental health is an important part of being a parent. But with all the focus on looking after a child or baby, we forget or run out of time to look after ourselves. Looking after ourselves will help us with the understanding, patience, imagination and energy we need to be a parent.

Some days are really hectic and kids are not cooperative but then some days are easy going. They wake up in a good mood and behave nicely , listen to you and usually those are 1 out of 10 days but hey be positive because nothing can replace their morning smile, a tight hug and of course the wet kisses.

Life is a piece of cake!
